MayorsManor Live – season previews w/ Nick Nickson and Jim Fox

In the spirit of getting content to you as quickly as possible, we’ll shorten up the preamble today and get right to the good stuff…

SHOW ONE

In our first season preview show we spoke with radio play-by-play master Nick Nickson. We’ll get his take on not only the Kings, but several teams that will likely challenge LA for the top spot in the Western Conference.

SHOW TWO

In our second preview show we had a pair of guests.  First, we were joined by Jim Fox, former player turned broadcaster.  He talked about the Kings, Canucks, Red Wings, Coyotes, Oilers and Sharks.  He also gave a bold prediction for one of the Kings’ forwards.  Which one?  Listen to find out.

We also heard from Timo Seppa, managing editor of Hockey Prospectus and a contributor to ESPN Insider.  He’ll help us break down some stats and talk about which goalies may be on the rise (or fall) this season.  He’ll also offer a few predictions, share some pointed comments about Jack Johnson and tell us why he’s a big believer in Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown.
