Come to the watch party tonight, see LA Kings at Avalanche

Redondo Beach Cafe hockey KingsCall your friends, call your neighbors – it’s time to get this party started!

We’re looking for a bunch of loyal LA Kings fans to come down and pack the Redondo Beach Cafe tonight for the first-ever MayorsManor watch party. We received many requests to hold similar events during the playoffs last year, but we just didn’t have time to pull it all together. So, during the off-season we spoke with a few places and quickly realized there was only one perfect location to host our inaugural event this season…

The Redondo Beach Cafe is run by a family of hockey nuts, who originally migrated to Southern California from Montreal. But, don’t hold that against them, they support the sport in a big way. Plus, the Stanley Cup visited the restaurant over the summer as well.

Tonight’s game in Colorado starts at 6pm PST. Feel free to get there as early – or as late – as you want.  We realize some of you might miss the drop of the puck though because you’ll just be getting off work.  Don’t worry – still come on down, don’t miss what’s sure to be a fun event.  Who knows, you might even get to see the Kings first win of the season.

Also, we also have two specials for people who arrive early…

First, they’ll be raising their new Stanley Cup banner inside the restaurant just before the game starts.  Second, here’s a little something extra for the first few fans through the doors tonight – be one of the first seven people to say the phrase ‘Sutterism’ to your waiter or bartender and you’ll get a $10.00 food credit to use throughout the game.

If you miss out on either, don’t worry – they’ll have $2.00 beer and wine specials all game long.

Hope to see you there tonight. And remember to bring a friend or two!
