VIDEO: Kings’ Dustin Penner helps Conan, tries to calm Lombardi

When LA Kings forward Dustin Penner first took to twitter, he added the following to his profile:  ‘Comedy is not subjective you’re just not funny.’

How appropriate then that he fired off this beauty – “I guess being on TBS you would know what silence sounds like.” –  as a response to a tweet from talk-show host Conan O’Brien that originally read, “It’s quiet today in LA. Reminds me of the day the Kings won the Stanley Cup.”

Apparently Penner didn’t find Connan’s comments too funny.

But, that was July and now that we’re two months deep into the NHL Lockout, the pair found a way to team up. Take a look…

Ever the comedian, Penner took to twitter again after the episode aired last night and thumbed out the following tweet…
