VIDEO: 2012 Stanley Cup Final – the lost Bernier interview

As loyal readers of MayorsManor already know, we posted many exclusive video interviews throughout the 2012 NHL playoffs – with both the LA Kings and their opponents. Whether it be home or road games, we tried to capture the mood and approach of the teams, both on and off the ice. Along the way, we were treated to many interesting and funny stories.

In New Jersey, just after morning skate prior to Game 2 vs the Devils, we took our usual lap around the Kings dressing room. That particular day we spoke with captain Dustin Brown and several other players. Plus, Jim Fox even provided an exclusive preview of the game. And, until now, one interview remained tucked away in a computer file and hasn’t been published.

Here’s a chat we had with Kings back-up goalie Jonathan Bernier…

Brown was a little more forthcoming when asked for his favorite Sutterisms, watch that video here.  It’s good for several laughs!

You can also check out our video archives here – stocked full of exclusive interviews with Brown, Dustin Penner, Anze Kopitar, Drew Doughty, Matt Greene, Colin Fraser and all the LA Kings.
