VIDEO: Exclusive pre-game interview with Shane Doan

It’s pretty simple to understand the situation facing the Phoenix Coyotes at the moment – they’re down 2-0 to an LA Kings team that’s been smothering them, making tonight pretty much a ‘must-win’ game. After they took their morning skate at Staples Center last hour, we had a chance to catch up with Coyotes captain Shane Doan…

In 87 career games vs the Kings, Doan has 67 points (30 goals and 37 assists) – including 19 points (8g, 11a) in 37 games at Staples Center. Over the last decade, he’s been one of the best captains in the National Hockey League. If his team even has a hope of crawling back into this series, they’ll need a big win tonight vs. the Kings.
