Penner on Coyotes’ Vermette during handshake line

Yesterday we heard from Dustin Penner via conference call (linked here) and last hour we posted some exclusive video with Willie Mitchell (linked here), as both helped us close the book on the Western Conference Finals.

Not so fast though…

Earlier today, Penner was made available for questions at the Kings training facility and it was another classic lesson in wit and timing by the bearded left wing – mixed in with some keen insight, of course.

This first video captures the opening monologue…

Then, after several of the cameras were turned off, we were able to get a little more with Penner – including some questions from MayorsManor about Tuesday’s handshake line. He’s going to start out by talking about Dustin Brown, touch on coach Darryl Sutter and then things eventually turns towards the post-game antics of the Coyotes – specifically some chirping he received from Antoine Vermette
