MayorsManor interview: Jeff Carter on what he’s learned

A few weeks ago, Jeff Carter was one of the first Kings players to admit to us he was wearing the same suit throughout the playoffs. So, we caught up with him again yesterday to find out if the superstition was still alive heading into the Finals and to see what he’s learned about some of his LA Kings teammates. He filled us in on Drew Doughty, Simon Gagne, Willie Mitchell and even talked a little New Jersey Devils too. Take a look…

For those wondering…yes, a mean game of ping-pong did breakout in the background of our taping with Carter. Slava Voynov and Jonathan Bernier may speak two different languages, but that didn’t stop them from picking up the paddles.

Back on the video front, we’ve shot several funny spots with the Kings lately, here’s a small sampling:

Drew Doughty – Is he really a Blue Jays fan?

Colin Fraser answers some tough questions about his LA Kings teammates

Dustin Penner talks traveling with the LA Kings

Great interviews with the guys. I think its awesome that they can just have fun interviews without every question asked being about the SCF. It seems like it can keep them relaxed!
