Interview with Slava Voynov – and a few LA Kings make cameos

LA Kings’ rookie Slava Voynov doesn’t speak much English, yet that hasn’t stopped the Russian-born defenseman from doing several interviews on MayorsManor over the last few seasons. In the video below though, we might be pushing the boundaries a bit, as we attempted to record him talking about superstitions, eating on the road, which teammates like to tease him, what he knows about the New Jersey Devils…oh, and a few other players drop in for some unexpected cameos…

Bonus points if you can name the player who offered up a big smile when walking by.

  6. I was surprised. Slava’s English is at least functional. Maybe my expectations were too low, cause I heard an interview with him a couple years ago, but I’m glad he’s improved in that regard.
