Contest: First Goal – Friday AND Saturday games

Updates on the playoff edition of the MayorsManor First Goal Contest…

First off, if you’re not familiar with how it works, click here to read the original announcement. Essentially, one lucky reader is going to win their choice of a team signed LA Kings stick or jersey and it’s pretty simple to play. Each morning we post the games scheduled for that particular day and you need to guess who will score the first goal in each game. To make things a little easier, you can even take a player from BOTH teams.

Now, because tomorrow’s game is scheduled for 9:30am PST, we’re going to combine the Friday and Saturday games into one article here – so you don’t have to wake up extra early tomorrow just to get your picks in.

With that said, here’s what an entry would look like for the games scheduled today (5/04/2012) and tomorrow (05/05/12):

Phoenix (Boedker) at Nashville (Fisher)
NY Rangers (Gaborik) at Washington (Carlson)

The maximum number of correct entries would be two, as you’re trying to guess the first goal in the game – not for each team.

If you’d like to see the most recent leaderboard, click here. Otherwise, please place your entry below.

Good luck!
