MayorsManor LIVE show – NHL Playoff Preview

April 10, 2012 By John Hoven

Free replay of the MayorsManor LIVE show from Tuesday, April 10.  We had a plethora of guests to help us look at all the playoff match-ups in the Western Conference. Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period  joined me as co-host for another night of hockey talk galore. The show featured…

– Daryl Evans previews the Kings-Canucks series and responds to the great story Nick Nickson told us last week about him (click here if you missed it).

– Ray Bennett, former Kings assistant coach and now with the St. Louis Blues, will call us up and share all the details on the Blues v San Jose Sharks series. We may sneak in a few memories from his time in LA too.

– Stu Grimson, former NHL enforcer turned lawyer, will take a break from his radio duties for a little bit. The Grim Reaper will join us to take a look at the Nashville Predators v Detroit Red Wings series.

– Tyson Nash, who’s guested on MayorsManor before (link), will return to give his perspective on the Phoenix Coyotes v Chicago Blackhawks first round match-up.

– Audio interviews from Kings practice today – the players share some thoughts as they head off to Vancouver.

– Full discussion on the injuries to Brad Richardson, Jeff Carter, Daniel Sedin and Simon Gagne.

– LA Kings prospect update, featuring defenseman Jake Muzzin. He’ll be checking in from Manchester (AHL)

– Dennis and I will offer up our predictions for all the Eastern and Western Conference playoff series.

– And, more!

UPDATE: If you missed the show, here’s a free replay…
