Contest: First Goal – the two games on April 28, 2012

NHL playoffs 2012Round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs continues today with two games, one in each conference.

As you’ve probably heard by now, MayorsManor is hosting a special First Goal Contest that will run through the entire length of the post-season (original announcement here). Please note, this is separate from the contest we run exclusively during LA Kings games – that version will continue and another article for that contest will be posted later today. The prize for tonight’s Kings-Blues game will be an autographed Dustin Brown puck. So, look for that contest to go live in a few hours.

Here, we’re giving away an LA Kings team signed stick or jersey, your choice.

Basically, each morning we’ll post the games scheduled for that particular day. Your job is to guess who will score the first goal in each game. The MayorsManor reader with the most correct submissions at the end of the playoffs wins their choice of an LA Kings signed stick or jersey. Sound good?  Well, then enter below.

To make things a little easier, you can take a player from BOTH teams. For example, here’s what an entry would look like for the games scheduled today, Saturday 4/28/2012:

Washington (Semin) at NY Rangers (Callahan)
Los Angeles (Carter) at St. Louis (Backes)

The maximum number of correct entries today would be two, as you’re trying to guess the first goal in the game – not for each team.
