Contest: First Goal – 4/25/2012 playoff game

Simple update here, participate in the playoff edition of the MayorsManor First Goal Contest and you could win a stick or jersey signed by the entire LA Kings team. If you missed the original announcement a few weeks ago, click here for all the details.

Basically, each morning we’ll post the games scheduled for that particular day. Your job is to guess who will score the first goal in each game, not for each team. However, to make things a little easier, you can take a player from BOTH teams.

For example, here’s what an entry would look like for the games scheduled today, Wednesday 4/25/2012:

Washington (Ovechkin) at Boston (Chara)

The maximum number of correct entries today would be one, as there’s only one game. Again, you’re trying to pick the first goal in the GAME.

We’ll track the number of correct entries and post an occasional leaderboard. The person with the most correct submissions at the end of the NHL playoffs will win their choice of an LA Kings team signed jersey or stick!

Here’s a quick look at the leaderboard through games played on 04/23/2012:

6 correct entries – Four people tied (Chelsea, Colo Kings Fan, Griffin, Janelle)

5 correct entries – Two people tied (James, Nicole)

4 correct entries – Two people tied (Ruben S, Steve)

There’s also a long list of people with one, two and three correct entries. So, as you can see, it’s still anybody’s race. Best of all, if you haven’t played yet, jump in now – you still have a great chance to win!
