As first reported over the weekend, with Manchester (the Kings’ AHL affiliate) eliminated from the playoffs on Friday night, ten Monarchs players will be coming to LA to be part of the ‘black aces’ – a term often associated with reserve players skating during the NHL playoffs. If you’re wondering why Brandon Kozun wasn’t included in the group, he suffered a hip injury in the second game of Manchester’s first round series.  Although he continued to play until the Monarchs were eliminated, it’s best he gives his body some rest.

We’ll have much more with the prospects up later in the week.
