Welcome to the all new MayorsManor website

It’s been a long journey to get here and we couldn’t have done it without a lot of people. A special thanks goes out to you, the loyal readers – through all the tweets, facebook posts, articles and radio appearances – you keep coming back for more! Additionally, thanks to all the players, General Managers, coaches, scouts and everybody associated with the NHL, AHL, ECHL, college and junior leagues for their endless cooperation, quotes and insight provided through the years. And a special appreciation to Mike Altieri, Jeff Moeller, Mike Kalinowski, Jeremy Zager, Aaron Brenner, Jim Fox and the staff of the LA Kings for their ongoing support.

What can you expect going forward? This is an all new site, brand new from head to toe.  However, more of the same is the short answer. We’ll have more interviews, more stories, additional audio/video, etc.

We’ve tried to organize things with a better navigational flow (using the tabs up above). Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with how the different areas were set up. It’s been designed to make things easier. Hopefully you’ll find that to be the case.

Also, if you take a look at the home page, there are four main areas – the ‘feature story of the week’ (should be self-explanatory), the ‘daily updates’ in the top right corner (this is where new articles will appear), the ‘audio’ section down in the bottom left corner (we’ll be using the space to promote the MayorsManor LIVE show and other multimedia events) and the ‘prospect profile’ section, located in the bottom center of the homepage (we’ll post interviews and updates re: NHL prospects here).

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be looking to improve the way ‘real time’ info interacts here on the site with some of the other social media places you may find our updates. More on that to come.

Finally, one of the most common pieces of feedback we’ve received over the last year or so has been the challenge some of you have encountered trying to login to the old site and post comments. That’s all been fixed by moving to this new platform. So, please, comment away…on every article, every day!

If you have any questions or thoughts about the site in general (good or bad, they’re all welcomed and appreciated), please use the CONTACT US tab up above. We’d love to hear what you think.
