Earlier tonight, the Kings lost to the Avalanche for the third time this season. Colorado had goals from Cody McLeod, Peter Mueller and Gabriel Landeskog. Contrary to Jack Johnson’s pre-game prediction, it was Anze Kopitar who scored first for the Kings (and it was also the only time they were able to sneak one past JS Giguere).
